It was a very successful Sunday night for Meals on Wheels of San Francisco. Their 20th Annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala raised thousands of dollars that will continue to provide seniors with the prepared meals and assistance they need. The event was highlighted with hors d’oeuvres, dishes and wines provided by an incrediable line-up of chefs & vintners .
Following courses prepared by Plumpjack Cafe’s James Syhabout and Myth’s Sean O’Brien, Chef Cal served Marjoram Spiced Lamb Rib-eye with mouseron mushrooms, squab liver and cipollini onion jus.
Chef Cal was able to meet up with old friends and guest chefs from his past Truffle Dinners; Hiro Sone, Lissa Doumani, Nancy Oakes, Pamela Mazzola. The auction item of dinner for 8 prepared by Chef Cal and David Kinch of Manresa, raised an incrediable $25,000.00 for Meals on Wheels on San Francisco – a true success!
