American Wine & Food Festival

The American Food & Wine Festival celebrated its 25th Anniversary on September 29th at Universal Studios.  Since 1982, the Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation has supported the American Wine & Food Festival, raising more than $13 million for the Los Angeles Chapter of Meals On Wheels. This organization serves thousands of meals each day to Los Angeles’ homebound, senior and disabled citizens.

Chef Cal Stamenov, Chef de Cuisine Christophe Grosjean and Pastry Chef Ben Spungin attended the event along side Bernardus Winery.  Chef Cal prepared Monterey Bay Abalone with corn ravioli and black truffle.  (This also meant a special trip to Monterey’s Wharf to pick up the 600 abalones needed for the event.)  For photos from their trip and of The American Wine and Food Festival, please click here.  For photos from Monterey Bay Abalone Farm, please click here.
